Alexander Scott-Brown is studying with Rebecca Gilliver at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

 

Previously, he studied at the Junior Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with Betsy Taylor, where he was principal cellist in the Symphony Orchestra for two years.

 

He has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland Symphony Orchestra, the Amicus Orchestra and the Mahler Players.

 

He has twice won the Premier Competition at the Inverness Music Festival and won the Open Strings competition at the Edinburgh Music Festival.
