Rosie Spinks currently studies under Jennifer Langridge at the Royal Northern College of Music. Previous teachers include Julian Metzger and Emma Ferrand and she has played in masterclasses with Ian Pressland and Leonard Elschenbroich.

As a soloist, she was invited to play with Oasby Music Group under Alex Laing in 2016 and was invited back again to play under Natalia Luis-Bassa in 2017.

In the same year, Rosie was part of the chamber ensemble that accompanied Nicola Benedetti's Four Seasons Tour in Leeds Town Hall. She played again with Benedetti in a string orchestra under Leonard Elschenbroich, which was featured on Classic FM.

Since beginning her studies at the RNCM, Rosie has been delighted to play in a multitude of orchestras, through which her repertoire has expanded, to include styles from the baroque era to modern day film music.

Rosie has a passion for teaching and regularly tutors young, up and coming chamber groups, as well as leading cello sectionals. She has taught peripatetically and hopes to continue this throughout her career as a cellist.
